I took on the role as an interior designer.

Throughout my mentorship, I worked on a project designing a remodel for a previous client my mentor had worked with. I used the real house plans and redesigned the kitchen, dining room, office, and master bathroom from start to finish according to the wants and needs of the client, Nate and Sharona Whitaker.

Above are the cabinet drawings for the kitchen and bathroom. It shows the potential design and layout of what it would look like in the space.

To the left is the before and after photos of the floor plans. The red symbolizes the walls and the black lines the furniture, appliances, and cabinets.

This is my finishes board. It included samples and photos of the real life things that were chosen for the dining room, kitchen, and bathroom. It offers a visual and feel for what the space would hypothetically be like.

Rebecca Robeson is an interior designer that posts videos on Youtube about the projects that she does. This video is a redecoration of Rebecca's daughter, Sharrah, apartment with her three roommates. I was inspired by the design that she did and used a couple of things that she did in my project. I used the curtain idea in the dining room, and the urban and rustic vibe in the kitchen and dining room. It inspired the look for my client.
